A fierce confrontation between armed bandits and security agents has claimed the lives of five assailant leaders in Kwakware village, located in Jibia local government, Katsina State. The clash unfolded around 2 pm on Saturday when a combined team of police officers and vigilant members encountered the hoodlums launching an attack on the village. A member of the vigilante group disclosed that the exchange of gunfire resulted in the deaths of five leaders of the assailants. The individuals neutralized in the attack were identified as Bala Wuta, Tsoho Hassan na Kadoji, Na Sahura, Hussaini Bakuru, and Lawal Baban Sabe Kadoji. Amidst the chaos, a police officer identified as Abdullahi Banka and a vigilant member named Surajo Jibia sustained injuries.
