Suspected cult boys in Diobu have shot dead one man identified as John Okon from Akwa Ibom who was shot dead right inside his Golf 3 Red Wagon Car at Abakeleke by Nanka street at about 9pm on Tuesday night. It was gathered that John Okon is a mechanic whose work shop is at Ojike by Illabuchi while he resides at Iwofe area in port Harcourt. Information available indicate that the incident may not be armed robbery attack as speculated but Cultist may have deliberately and intentionally assassinated the Victim. Intelligence sources points to the fact that a ranking member of one of the street cults in Diobu had warned him severally to leave the girl he was with this night when the gunmen struck But he refused. The ranking member of the cult group is also laying claim to the girl to be his lover who was with the deceased inside his car when he was shot.
