It was sheer divine grace that saved passengers and rider of a tricycle from death in Lagos State on Thursday as they hurriedly jumped out before the tricycle they were in was crushed by a trailer after it climbed the tricycle, popularly known as Keke. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), which announced the situation, disclosed that the accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. at Mobil Ashade inward Akilo in the Agege area of the state when the truck, which apparently lost control, climbed the commercial tricycle. It was gathered that the driver of the trailer, who was apparently on top speed, lost control of the vehicle and climbed the tricycle, crushing it in the process. However, before it crushed the tricycle, the rider as well as the passengers who saw the trailer coming towards them, jumped out before the havoc was done.
