Many traders have lost property worth millions of naira in a fire that gutted many shops in Gwarzo town, Gwarzo local government market of Kano State. The fire incident, which occurred on Monday, has thrown the victims into huge losses as many of them were seen crying and lamenting. The spokesperson of the Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Yusif Abdullahi, said the fire started midnight but was finally put out Monday morning. He explained that dozens of shops were completely razed by the inferno, while property worth millions of naira were destroyed. He, however, said there was no injury or loss of life.
