An armed group of four criminals attacked a mini-bus transporting passengers bound for Mozambique in the South African village of Bushbuckridge, last Friday night. The incident was confirmed by police spokesperson in Mpumalanga province, Brigadier Selvy Mohlala. He explained that the passenger vehicle was coming from Acornhoek heading to Mozambique, when the driver noticed lights shining from a white Toyota vehicle that was following him. The driver became suspicious and continued driving until he reached a nearby gas station where he thought it was safe to stop. However, the vehicle followed him, and when he arrived at the scene, four armed men got out of the van and one of the suspects fired a shot before attacking the driver. According to the IOL portal, the suspects stole a bag full of passengers' passports, as well as money, which they had paid for the trip.
