A black-coloured Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) used for ambulance services has been involved in an accident in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State, killing three persons. The accident which happened on Thursday, occurred in front of Dacoo Petrol Station at Umuafukwu/Umuagwa village, along Ikot Ekpene Road, in Obingwa LGA. The ambulance, which was said to be running at top speed before the accident, hit some tricycles and motorcycles, killing three persons and seriously injuring some others. It was not known if the driver of the ambulance was drunk as he continued on to speed after the accident, before running into a nearby bush where his car eventually stopped.
