Passengers inside a commercial bus sustained injuries on Sunday afternoon in Lagos State when the driver of the bus lost control, causing it to somersault in the process. The accident occurred around 12:55 p.m. at Majidun inward Orita Aje on the ever-busy Ikorodu Road when the driver of the yellow bus lost control apparently as a result of excessive speed which made the vehicle to somersault before eventually landing on its roof. It was gathered that the passengers in the fully-loaded bus sustained various degrees of injuries and officials of the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS) arrived the scene after receiving a distress call over the accident. They were said to have attended to the passengers at the scene of the accident by giving them first aid treatment while those with more severe injuries were taken to the hospital after they had been stabilized.
