A Guardian haulage driver, Cyprian Nnaemeka was attacked on Wednesday morning. Nnaemeka was attacked at about 4:00 a.m. at Dunukofia Local Council by suspected armed robbers while conveying copies of the newspaper meant for yesterday from Asaba to Enugu and environs. He, however, escaped without injuries, but the windscreen of his red colour Toyota Corolla was shattered from the incident. Nnaemeka, who managed to deliver copies of the newspaper to their respective locations with the shattered windscreen, told The Guardian at its premises in Enugu that his escape was a miracle.
