Gunmen have killed three persons including a member of the Edo State Security Network (ESSN) at Ekiadolor Community in Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo State. The incident triggered protest by mini bus drivers who appealed to security agencies to intervene effectively in the matter. Dependable sources revealed that the only survivor of the attack is one Bright Oviawe, a commercial driver. He has been hospitalised after being shot twice. It was gathered that the deceased vigilante member identified as Jude Aikhionbare, 43, was returning from night duty when gunmen opened fire on him around Market Square at Ekiadolor Community.
