The Taraba State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of an Inspector in the state. The kidnapped inspector, Emmanuel Yaro, was abducted from his farm by suspected kidnappers on Sunday. The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Abdullahi Usman, said the kidnapped officer was serving with the Kurmi division of the state command. He said the inspector had earlier in the day taken some workers to his farm in Gidan-Idi village of the area, before he was whisked away shortly after buying food for his workers.
