Tragedy struck as some 500-level Accounting students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo state perished in a tragic accident in Osun state on Wednesday evening. The students were returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State when their vehicle suddenly caught fire around Ilobu-Okinni-Osogbo road in Osun. Confirming the tragic incident, the school Public Relations Officer, Lekan Fadeyi, said lives were lost in the accident but could not verify the numbers as he is yet to receive more information on the incident.
