A portion of Mega Plastics Company, a plastic company, located in the Ilupeju area of Lagos was gutted by fire in the early hours of today, Saturday, September 23, 2023. This was contained in a statement, on Saturday, by the Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA, Adebayo Taofiq, and made available to the public. According to the statement, LASTMA officials arrived at the scene of the fire incident at about 6:30 a.m., after which they contacted other emergency responders to assist in putting out the fire.
