Gunmen, in the early hours of today, shot dead a member of the vigilante in 1st Marine Gate in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State. The gunmen engaged the vigilante team in a gun battle during which some members of the latter group fled due to the superior firepower of their attackers. One of them was killed in the battle. The corpse of the deceased was seen lying at the scene of the incident covered with a white cloth.
