A 71-year-old resident of Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara as died in a road crash. The dead man has been identified as Beersain Udho. A police report explained the 71-year-old man was riding his motorcycle along the Zeeland Public Road this morning, when a car being driven by a 63-year-old man made a sudden turn in front of him, resulting in him slamming into the car. The elderly man fell onto the roadway and suffered a number of injuries. He was rushed to the Mahaicony Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the car has been taken into custody for questioning.
