The motorist driving a Lexus car was rushed to a hospital on Tuesday afternoon after he lost control, causing the vehicle to somersault. The accident occurred on Eko Bridge inward Alaka when the driver lost control ostensibly due to excessive speed, causing the Lexus to somersault and eventually landing on its roof. The entire front parts of the car, from the windscreen to the bonnet as well as the bumper were all seriously damaged. Following the accident, the motorist, who was said to have been trapped inside, was extricated by people around the scene from the vehicle and was eventually rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
