A commuter bus loaded with passengers plunged into a canal at the Oworonshoki area of Lagos State. It was gathered that some of the passengers were injured in the incident. The bus was said to have lost control before plunging into the ditch with a yet-to-be-ascertained number of passengers. The Director-General of Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, confirmed the incident. The accident happened at sand-filling Oworonshoki by Berger bus stop outward Third Mainland Bridge.
