One person was allegedly killed while about five others sustained varying degrees of injuries after an explosion rocked an illegal refinery in the creeks of Warri River in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State. Sources said that the victims were sighted at Warri Miler Jetty as they were rushed to a private hospital in a fast-moving speed boat. One of the sources, who prefers anonymity said that the victims got burnt when fire gutted their local refinery site as they were refining petroleum products in the creeks.
