Bandits have killed a Chief Imam and an unspecified number of residents in Faskari LGA of Katsina. The victims were killed when the assailants stormed Sabon Garin Bilbis community around 8.45pm on Monday. The bandits, who invaded the community in large numbers, killing the cleric and several defenceless residents. The specific number of fatalities recorded cannot be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
